Chairman
Chief I. C. Ogbue who is the Chairman of TGI was born in 1932. He was educated at
City of London College, Moorgate London and later at South-West London College of
Commerce, London, where he obtained the following qualifications; A.C.C.S. (London),
F.C.I.S. (London). He is also an Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.

held in London, New York, Chicago, Bombay (India), Hong - Hong, Tokyo (Japan), Hawaii, Baghdad (Iraq), Sydney (Australia). Chief Ogbue has had working experiences in various establishment and held various positions, amongst which are Enitonna High School,
Port-Harcourt where he was a tutor, Chief Secretary' s Office, The Secretariat, Lagos
where he was junior clerk, Department of Marketing of Exports, Lagos - Produce
Inspector, South East Gas Board, London - Accounts Officer, Nigerian Pools Company Ltd,
Lagos where he was the Accountant and later the Company Secretary and finally in the
Administration and Manpower Development department of the National Insurance
Corporation of Nigeria (NICON). Here, he held the position of the corporation secretary, rose to the
position of Deputy General Manager, and finally, General Manager. He is currently a
director in NAL Merchant Bank Plc. Lagos, a director in Nigerian Match & Chemical
Company Limited, Kano, a director in Inland Containers (Nig) Limited, Lagos, the Chairman,
NATAD (Nigerian Association for Training and Development), the Chairman BGL Securities
Limited, a director in Banc Garanti Limited, and a director in Transglobal Investment
Limited. Chief Ogbue is a member of the Island Club and Ikoyi Club. He loves listening to
classical and soft music. He is married with children. |
Mr. Ndudi G. Elumelu
Vice - Chairman
He had
his education at Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos where he obtained a National
Diploma in Business Administration. He later bagged a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in
Accounting & Finance and later a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with

body that gave rise to Transglobal Insurance Brokers Ltd.
Mr. Elumelu had
worked in various establishments. He first worked in Euroafrik Finance Company Ltd. as an
Account Officer. It was after he left here that he joined the services of Gulf Bank of
Nigeria Ltd. where he worked as the Acting Head, General Trade and Commerce, and later, he
saddled the responsibility of the overall management of credit and marketing, treasury and
other services available in the branch amongst many other duties. On leaving Gulf
Bank
Ltd., he joined Inter Capital Ltd., an investment outfit where he was the Head of Credit.
As a result of his knack for excellence, he left here to set up Transglobal Investment
Ltd., an outfit whose services have been excellent. Mr. Elumelu has attended many courses
both locally and overseas, some of which are credit analysis course by H. Pierson
Associates Ltd., Finance Africa summit in South Africa organized by Philip Consulting, 2nd
Nigeria International Insurance Summit and other courses in Europe. He is a member
of the board of directors in many companies, some of which are Tenoil Petroleum and Gas
Company Limited, Structural Trust Fund Limited, Exchange Trade Limited, MunGen Consults
Limited, Transglobal Communications Limited, Pet - Jibson & Company Limited, Peton
Engineering Limited, and Pet - N Chemicals amongst many others. He is also a member of the
Chartered Institute of Bankers. He is a member of Ikoyi Club, he loves reading, playing
lawn-tennis, socializing and he is happily married.

Hajia B. Eluma
Director
Hajia B. Eluma is an astute, seasoned and accomplished business tycoon.
She had her education at the prestigious Kaduna Polytechnic where she
obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Hotel & Catering Serivces
and later MBA from Edo State University, Ekpoma. She has worked with

Ibro Hotels Ltd, Sokoto and is currently with Sheraton Hotel & Towers
where she has been a trainer for a number of years and her experience in
this industry has never left any one in doubt, as she has completely
revolutionalized
this facet within this period. She has a reputation of venturing to places
where even angels dare not and this has made her contemporaries nickname
her 'An Achiever'. Hajia Eluma is a member of the Nigerian Institute of
Management and Nigerian Institute for Training and Development. She is
also a member of the Ikoyi Club as wel as other social clubs in Lagos. At
her leisure, she loves reading, writing, listening to music and meeting
people.
She is happily married with children. |
Mr. William Asuquo Archibong
Director
He is a Toronto, Canada graduate of International business. He has a wide
exposure for more than 22 years in International marketing,
Manufacturing and Business Management. Between 1977-1983, he was sales
representative for Canada Wire and Cable International Limited ,
covering ECOWAS countries. |

Thereafter,
he was appointed Group Manager Ayimo Group of Companies Calabar. He was
Director Eastern Matches Industries, Calabar for four years as C.R.S.G
representative. He now runs ESCORE NIGERIA LIMITED, a paper conversion
company as Executive Chairman and Abignamo Nigeria Limited, a Civil
Engineering Company as Chairman. He is also the chairman of Calabar
Investment Company.

Mr. Herbert O. Nwachukwu
Chief operating officer
He is a bachelor of science degree holder (B.Sc) in Insurance with a second class
upper and a master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Banking, both from the
Enugu State University of Science and Technology. He is a member of the Chartered
Insurance Institute of Nigeria. His experience in the industry started in 1990 with
Nigerian French Insurance Company Limited. He is also an associate

He attended the University of Lagos where he obtained his bachelor degree
in Law in 1990. He finished from the Nigerian Law School in 1991. Since
then he has been actively involved in legal practice. Between 1991 and
1993, Barrister Odozi worked in Godiya Chambers in Kaduna State. From
1993 to 1996 he worked in Uwazurike & Associates in Lagos and till
now he is actively involved in private legal practice. His chambers is
