TGI was incorporated in 1993 as Spring Insurance Brokers Unlimited and was in 1999 re-registered as TransGlobal Insurance Brokers Limited to transact General Insurance Business, Life Assurance Business and Special Risks.

It is a wholly owned Nigerian Company with staff strength of 45 skilled, trusted and dedicated staff. TGI has a highly motivated and multi-disciplinary team comprising of chartered insurance practitioners, chartered accountants, chartered administrators, risk management consultants, lawyers, engineers and economists.

TGI has a share capital of N20,000,000.00 (Twenty Million Naira Only). It has an asset base of over N700,000,000.00 (Seven Hundred Million Naira Only) and a Professional Indemnity cover of N30,000,000.00 (Thirty Million Naira Only).

TGI has its offices in Lagos, Asaba and Abuja. Equally, it has a correspondence office in London. The branches and the correspondence office are strategically located to support its operations.

Since incorporation, the company has provided professional insurance broking services to reputable organizations and institutions in the public and private sectors of the country.

TGI enjoys banking support from United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, and Unity Bank Plc.
